Almyros is a continuation of the area of Acharavi and vice versa.  Acharavi is in the middle of Corfu’s north coast, between Roda and Kassiopi.  It is a small working town and is known for its wide beach, with a mixture of coarse sand and small and large pebbles.  Almyros has a few tavernas and a mini market but Acharavi is very close for plenty of options to eat and shop and other services.  The beach of Agios Spyridon is nearby and you can reach this on foot via a coastal path.  There is a Folklore Museum in the village and plenty of hiking trails that are up in the mountains behind the town.
